With all he could have advertised, Sligh lets the world know the biggest guilty pleasure he missed on the road to Idol fame. |
In interviews with Real TV’s Kennedy, for instance, Chris Sligh discusses what and who he missed most. He was looking forward to going back to his band, Half Past Forever, as they are not the usual garage band or bar band and are instead very talented, very intelligent individuals who were drawing interest from record labels before the American Idol experience.
He was of course looking forward to the one person he missed the most, his lovely wife, Sarah, who has been nothing but supportive through the whole process.
And what he was going through heavy withdrawals over the worst, he said, was missing the new episodes of 24. In fact, he said to Kennedy, he even thought about how if he made it far enough in the American Idol finals and got enough clout, maybe he could have gotten the producer of 24 to hook him up.
It makes sense that a show like “24”, which purports a real-time pace/plotline, would appeal to Chris. Both are outside-the-box intelligent, engaging, and appealing to large populations of television viewers. Unlike other American Idol contestants and other television shows I could meanly mention, but won’t.
