Danny Gokey, Alexis Grace Made It To The Top Twelve Of American Idol TV Season 8
The first live results show was aired last night on American Idol TV Season 8. The twelve performers came from the first group of the remaining 36 contestants and only 3 of them will go through, ending up in the Top 12.
The group came out singing I’m Yours, making it the first group song of the season. Ryan Seacrest observe that though the group started out a strong beginning, they can’t help to cracked out under pressure. Tatiana del Toro is subdued and becoming crazy.
Casey Carlson sang the song Ever Little Thing She Does is Magic which the judges didn’t like and she didn’t make it to the Top 12.
Next, is Stephen Fowler singing Rock With You. The judges deemed the song is not right for him and the fans decided not to make him through.
Up next is Alexis Grace singing I Never Loved A Man and Simon commented that she’s the dark horse of the competition so far. And she make it through the to the coveted Top 12.
Then, Jackie Tohn and Ricky Braddy were called – both didn’t make it through.
The Anoop Desai and Michael Sarver were called for the judgment time. Anoop sang the song Angle of Mine and then Michael sang I don’t Want To Be. Unfortunately, Anoop didn’t make it and Michael Sarver is the second person to make it through the Top of American Idol Season 8.
Michael Johns and Carly Smithson of Season 7 came out and perform the song The Letter.
The next three contestant were up next and all have been rejected, these includes – Anne Marie, Anne And Stevie.
The last two contestant where then ushered in – Danny Gokey and Tatiana del Toro. Tatiana sang Saving All My Love For You and Danny performed Hero. Danny make it through and Tatianana did not which made her breakdown.
