The beauties, or one beauty in particular…, not so much.

At least not the male “beauty” who is not all that great to look at, relatively speaking.

So many of us had been calling out for a line-up of female geeks and male beauties. And so many of us love “Beauty and the Geek” that we faithfully follow each season and were intrigued with and grateful for the twist that we had been crying for, as it were. Ashton Kutcher and producers, kudos!But, guys, could you have at least used a better looking guy beauty? Sam? Ick.

Too, when we wanted the inverted premise, the opposite casting, we were thinking maybe all nine beauties would be male and all nine geeks female. Maybe you are experimenting, testing to see if one couple works before investing in a whole season?

If the whole season thing does take off, maybe have some guys whose eyes are not so close together or looking like they are pure scamming eyes [I can’t quite yet put a finger on what it is that is so unattractive about this guy], for

starters. Hey, we fem-geeks may be in no position to bitch, but we still appreciate really fine guys…, like Kutcher, for example! Yeah, that’s it. Get nine beautiful Ashtons and you will have a spin-off HIT!
Anyway, one comment I’d like to add in favor of the beauties this season is with regards to one individual beauty. While the geeks are typically the most endearing, this week Amanda elevated herself from the station of sexy snob to sensitive sweetheart.

Unfortunately, she and Tony were eliminated.

But when they interviewed on camera together at the end, Amanda said one of the kindest, most thoughtful things I’ve ever heard on the show. Tony had come to the house introverted and unable to function at any notable social level. He tells us how he has, in this short time, changed, though he is still beyond humble and still down in the humiliated range.

Amanda turns to him and tells him that anybody would be better for knowing him. And he cries. And we cry. Amanda, you are truly beautiful.
