Well, okay, the Alice in Wonderland theme went about as far as those spinning shrooms could throw contestants, but if it were a consistent motif, there might be some tonic bottles about the Big Brother house with “trust me” tags. |
And who would be drinking from the bottles? Uh, probably no one…not even the seemingly more gullible players of “Big Brother” 8.
It’s post Veto speech, and Amber hugs Danielle and tells her good speech.
[What she’s really thinking: Thanks for nothing, beeyatch.]
Dick says of anyone, he can trust Amber.
[What he’s really thinking: I am so messed up, I don’t even know if I can trust myself.]
Dustin tells Amber about his trust issues with Joe.
[What he’s really thinking: I have trust issues with Joe.]
Joe announces it is time to separate the inseparable…Amber and Dustin.
Joe listens to somebody with a wet head scheme; that somebody says she loves him.
Joe talks to Zach to plot; Zach agrees to do something in Joe’s favor and Joe thanks him, happily.
[What Zach’s really thinking: as he tells us, he will have to check in with the alliance.]
Zach and Nick conspire, and what Zach is really thinking is said aloud…something about how if Carol goes, there goes his lap dog?
Julie Chen greets the house guests and does an interview, starting with the squirrely Jen, who wonders aloud why she is first to speak. The simple question regarding what it was like choosing who to evict? Jen idiotically answers with a giggle,
“It was…fun?”
What?
[What she’s really thinking: Who cares what she is thinking…, or if she even IS…?]
Well, we had better start caring, for as much as we would like to see her whipped and weeping her way out the door, Jen has won the second HoH, after answering more majority rules questions than the others.
So maybe the Queen of Hearts, while feigning to be little more than a balloon wearing a wig, is privately rubbing her hands together, quietly observing better than anyone else, slipping in an appearance wearing nothing but a beach towel, and slipping those “Trust Me” potions into the slop.
