New Celebrity Apprentice Joan is dispicable
The new Celebrity Apprentice Joan Rivers is despicable, and Annie Duke is the loser!

Man… Just when I thought I could not be phased by a reality tv show pulling and tugging at my strings – along comes the final season finale episode of the Celebrity Apprentice last night, which was a mind blower. |
Without getting too deep into the details, let’s just focus for a moment on the winner and loser of last nights final episode, which was a 3 hour blend of live footage at a museum ballroom and edited footage of the final task for the season.
Annie Duke, the poker player and Joan RIvers, the sleazebag, faced off to let us find the winner of this season’s Celebrity Apprentice. Joan Rivers somehow managed to come through as the winner.
For me that was a tremendous disappointment and actually made the last 15 or so minutes of the show a vocal yelling exercise for me as I watched the far superior Annie Duke start to go down in flames in what became an apparent bias towards Joan Rivers.
It’s hard to believe that someone so “unstable” and “mean spirited” as Joan Rivers (same as with Melissa Rivers by the way – they apparently share the “a-hole gene”) could end up as the winner of th Celebrity Apprentice. While this may have made for some good television watching, it saddens me to see how when GOOD vs. EVIL gets paired p, that Donald Trump and whoever else was involved in the decision could end up selecting such a vicous and irrational human such as Joan.
Sure, Joan technically had good some good qualities as a business person – but – how can you overloook the fact that she was so “despicable” and mean and basically flew off the handle and ranted time after time. To me she showed a lack of respect for the entire cast as she bullied her way to talk over the top of everyone, including Mr. Trump.
Definition: despicable
adjective CONTEMPTIBLE, mean, low, base, cheap, infamous, degrading, worthless, disgraceful, shameful, vile, sordid, pitiful, abject, hateful, reprehensible, ignominious, disreputable, wretched, scurvy, detestable, scungy Austral., N.Z. beyond contempt << OPPOSITE admirable
Wow… that really sums up Joan Rivers and her daughter Melissa as well. THis definition DESCRIBES these 2 perfectly.
What is so interesting is that JOan herself COINED the phrase despicable but was slinging it at Annie.
What I saw was that Annie was the OPPOSITE of despicable (see above) – yes – Annie Duke was “admirable”.
Now, I do have to say that early on in the eason I did not much care for Annie as she did seem to be a bit too pushy and harsh. But as it turns out, compared to Joan Rivers, she is a beacon of manners and consideration.
Joan on the other hand had no desire to listen to anyone but herself talk and rudely talked over anyone else attempting to talk- even Annie.
So as I watched the final boardroom I saw that both Joan Rivers and Annie Duke managed to get some good feedback on tehir events and their final task. But suddenly as it came to a close it appeared that Joan was getting some compliments and preferential treatment which made it painfully obvious as I was watching that ANNIE was GOING TO LOSE to this obnoxious mean person.
I don’t get it. This is business – and as pointed out – how can a person so irrational and mean and just downright insane be considered top reperesent Donald Trump as the winning Apprentice. Last years winner Pierce Morgan may have been brash – but he was smart and sensible – Joan was brash and insane and very mean.
Annie was such an obvious choice. Joan was good for entertainment, but please – a woman as sleazy as her has no right to be admired in any way. How could Donald overlook how mean she was??? How could he align himself with someone who had no sense of right and wrong.
I’ll just close & say that this is another case where the loud, brash, mean person who is a bully gets a free pass from people and is allowed to be a winner despite exhibiting behavior that just should NOT ever be tolerated ever.
I’m sorry – A-holes don’t have a place at the top. Let’s stop this kind of crap! And Annie – you’re a winner in my books – even if you’re a “poker player” :’> Sorry – could not resist!

The outcome was a travesty, a clear fix for Joan to win despite the obvious superiority of Annie Duke both as a fund-raiser and as a human being. The only thing we viewers can do is to NEVER watch any Apprentice show again. That will hit Donald Trump right in the pocketbook where it will matter to him.

I would think it ended the way it did to keep people interested. If it ends as predicted than there is not to much to imagine for the next show. Rather that be next season or a show simular to it. It is all about marketing in my opinion. Look how successful the other reality shows are. If it creates media to boost intrest it is a go.
