Dancing With The Stars Said Goodbye To Susan Lucci

Dancing With The Stars came back with a revenge after a night’s rest due to the election. The eight couple was eliminated tonight and Grammy Award Winning Artists Lionel Richie performed. Macy’s Star of Dance saved a very good number for tonight thanks to their choreographer, Dave Scott.

First off, is the choice of the judges to perform from the performance night, and its no other that Team Pasadoble who performed a very hot number last Tuesday night. They really performed well on the repeat number. Then Samantha interviewed the team leaders for the teams Cha Cha and Team Pasa Doble.

After that, music icon Lionel Ritchie performed “Dancing on the Ceiling,” accompanied by professional dancers Cheryl Burke, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Kym Johnson and Tony Dovolani, as well as his first single, “Good Morning,” from his new album “Just Go,” coming out February 17, 2009 on Island Records. The latter song was accompanied by professional dancers Edyta Sliwinska and Alec Mazo.

Then the hosts announced the leader board from the performance night:

Cody and Edyta came in sixth with 42 out of 60.
Susan and Tony earned 44
Lance and Lacey had 45
Warren and Kym had 50
Maurice and Cheryl were given 54
Brooke and Derek reclaimed first place with 59 out of 60.

After that, the first couple to be on the safe side were, Maurice and Cheryl. Then Dance Center took the center stage with another hilarious segment starring Kenny Mayne and Jerry Rice from DWTS Season 2 and DWTS very own, judge Len Goodman. They enumerated each contestants hobbies and traits that stands out.

Then after, Macy’s Stars Of Dance was on the stage with Dave Scott’s hip hop routine. Then another round from the Dance Center guys was showed.

Tom and Samantha announced the next two couples who were safe and that would be Brooke and Derek and Warren and Kym. The three teams from group Cha Cha remained on the floor. Cody and Edyta, Susan and Tony and Lance and Lacey are being extra fearful now.

The two pairs who are going to be safe are: Lance and Lacey and Cody and Edyta! Its Susan Luccis’ turn to go home. She thanked her pro Tony, the audience and her fans fro her incredible flight with DWTS.

Next week, the stars face a new challenge, first they perform a Ballroom round and then a Latin round. This will be the first time the dancers will be required to perform a solo. For more info check Sir Links ALot Dancing With The Stars Links
