Dancing With The Stars Has A Guest Judge and Their Group Hip Hop Routine Rocks!
Len is on vacation and Dancing With The Stars had a guest judge last night in the person of Michael Flatley. The contestants performs their best to gain the praise of this guest judge and the remaining resident judges Bruno and Carrie Ann.
The heat started with Maurice and Cheryl dancing the Viennese Waltz to the tune of Gravity. Mr. Flatley commented that they could have done better but overall the dance was beautiful. Carrie Ann told them that they don’t have chemistry and they must work on it. Bruno said that the dance lack fluidity. The judges gave them a score of 21 for the night.
Lance and Lacey came next. The pair practiced in Florida in the same studio where Lance’s band N’Sync practiced when they are still a band. Lance’s ex-bandmates Chris Kirkpatrick and Joey Fatone visit him and watch their practice. They perform the Jive on the tune of Tutti Frutti. Bruno said that Lance is back on target. Michael told Lance that they have everything from hard work, determination and self belief and he came out smoking! Carrie Ann just said Whoo Hoo and told them that Len would be proud of Lance for his performance. They received the highest score of the night, 27.
The next performers were Susan and her partner Tony. Susan was injured last week and struggle to her routines but still she came and perform tonight. They dance the Mambo with the song Si Senior. Carrie Ann is proud of her because she broke the box and all. Bruno commented that finally he sees her working but their timing was off. Michael praises the beauty and grace of Susan. They get a fast 23 for the night.
Then the highest scoring team last week came next, Brooke and Derek. Brooke has a tendon strain which is visible in her routine tonight. They dance the Rumba on the tune of No Air. Micheal was clearly taken by the dance saying that they took his breath away. Carrie Ann told Brooke that ther injury affected her performance. Bruno told her that even she is only standing she smoldered like a flame but her routine wasn’t as sharp as usual. They give them a 26 tonight with Michael giving them a 10 which is not enough according to him.
Up next was the entertainment performers Cloris and Corky with their own rendition of the Cha Cha Cha. Cloris forgot her dancing routines but kept on smiling while she’s dancing. Bruno commented that she is the only person in the world who can sell such nonsense but people will still buy it. Micheal said to the actress that she is a legend and an inspiration to many and his father told him not to say anything bad about her. Carrie Ann sarcastically said that the show has lost Toni Braxton for this and it makes her sad. The audience booed her for that comment. The couple’s score was the lowest of the night, 15.
Cody and Julianne came next dancing the Samba with the song Wind Up. Carrie Ann praises them and told them its the most intense Samba she’s ever seen. But Bruno did not agree, he told Carrie Ann that she got it all wrong because the dance lack exuberance. The guest judge told them that Cody has everything it takes and he’s not convinced it was his best dance. He said that the best is yet to come for the young actor. They got a 23! Julianne then admitted that she has endometriosis and will be undergoing surgery tomorrow to remove her appendix. Cody will be dancing with Edyta until she gets back which disappointed the youngest star of the show.
The last pair to dance in the night was Warren and Kym with their sexy Rumba. They danced on the tune of Irreplaceable. Michael said that the dance was very entertaining. Carrie Ann commented it was very sexy. Bruno commented that said that Warren has the knack of getting the character right, but he made some mistakes tonight in the foot work. They got a 25 for their performance.
After the performances, all the pairs will join in as a group and performed a group routine. They danced an old school hip hop dance entitled It Takes Two. Bruno commented that some dancers looked hip and the others needed a hip replacement. Hahaha!
