Dancing With The Stars - A Smoky Night
Dancing With The Stars finished another exhibition night Monday October 13, 2008. Tonight we are going to know who’s the pair who will no longer stay in the show. But before that let’s recap last night scores and combined scores from the judges.
The first to dance is Maurice and Cheryl. The pair danced a Samba on the tune of “That’s the Way I Like It”. The judges commented positively though Len told them to refine their dancing skills more and Bruno commented to have more precision.
The pair scored 20 last night and their combined is 44 out of 60.Then actor Cody and his pro Julianne hit the dance floor with the traditional Tango on a rock song entitled “I Like You”.
Len said that the dance was sharp indeed and very aggressive and commented to Cody that it was his best dance since the season started. Both Bruno and Carrie Anne thought that Cody is delivering exactly what was expected of him. The duo scored 23 and they have a total of 44 out 60 combined score.
The third pair to grace the dance floor is Toni and Alec. The couple danced the Samba with traditional and roll steps. All judges think that the dance brings out the sexual personalities of the couple especially Toni. Their score hit 22 and their total combined score was 44 out of 60.
And here comes one of the surprises of the night. Cloris and Corky surprise the audience and the judges with their very impressive traditional Tango. The pair received a standing ovation when they finished and the judges told Cloris that they had underestimated her dancing prowess and give numerous praises for the actress. They couple scored 22 and they have a combined score of 38 out of 60.
Rocco and Karina came The pair almost left Dancing With the Stars last week but because of sheer luck Misty Mae had pulled out of the competition because she encountered an injury. The couple earned not so good praises from the judges. They have scored 18 yesterday and have 38 total score.
Susan and Tony were next. They danced a traditional Tango which Carrie Anne commented that she think that she found Ms. Erika Kane. Len said that it was her best dance so far and Bruno told Susan that she is tough. The couple get a score of 24 and an overall score of 45 out of 60.
Then came the best couple of the night, Brooke and Derek. They dance the Samba on the beat of “The Beat”. The dance was very sexy so it is not unusual if the crowd had given them a standing ovation after the number. Len and Bruno told the audience that the dance was very sexy and erotic that Bruno said he needed a smoke. Carrie Anne said its very sensual. The couple get the highest score of the night which is 26 and the highest combined over all score of 54 out of 60.
But Lance and Lacey contends the highest score on their best dance so far. They dance the Tango on the beat of Disturbia. Bruno told the pair that they have what it takes to go all the way to the finals. Carrie Ann told Lance that he was amazing. Then Len commented that Lance is Sir Dance A Lot. They receiver the same score as Brooke and Derek 26 for the night and they have an overall score of 48 out of 60.
Last but not the least, Warren and Kym had attacked the dance floor with their own rendition of the Dance With Me on a waltz. The judges agreed that their number lacks content though the audience loves Warren because of his size and agility. The couple get a score of 22 and an overall total of 47 out of 60.
