Flavor of Love marathon…. You know those pusher-men (and women) gotta keep us hooked…so they can remind us of the featured Flav favs…and so they can promote “Charm School,” the second “Flavor…” spin-off, believe it or not. |
Still Hoping to Learn What Time it is: Applez, Dimplez, Georgia, Goldie, Hoopz, Hottie, Miss Latin, New York, Oyster, Peaches, Pumkin, Rain, Serious, Smiley, and Sweetie.
“Rub a Dub Flav”
Hottie, who was so aggressive in episode one that Flav is
“feelin’ her” already (she is not only “dramatical” but tries to “hypmotize” him), tells the confession cams that this is all about “divide and conquer.” Uh-oh. Considering this comment and New York’s establish of herself as the evil force to be reckoned with, we are already in for some friction…to put it mildly.
On the ride to the first challenge—wherein Flav will spend ten quality minutes with each remaining girl and assess compatibility (or what Flav might call the feelin’ her factor)—friction it is. Rain calls New York on her nastiness, and New York of course will not let it go at that.
Next after the hot tub test is the equally “dramatical” roller skating session with the “winners”—Miss Latin, Smiley, and New York.
Smiley is the opposite of her newly assigned name, having just separated [a week earlier] from a husband of four years. She tells us how ridiculous she was for getting all weepy and honest with Flav, who, she stresses, doesn’t want a woman who cries.
Back at the crib, New York has moved on to a fight with Pumkin: “New York is the &*^% house!!!! Live with it.” (Well, she kinda has to.)
Pumkin at some point in the segment discusses her being a teacher and a cheerleading coach; Hottie is into residential real estate and doesn’t use swear words, she tells Flav’s mom; and Serious is again reminding everyone who will listen (and that’s not many) that she is a “professional
model”—uh-oh, networking alert: maybe she is announcing this so often to get them, somebody, anybody to realize she is there to further her career?
Maybe conveniently timing it, Red Oyster calls on Flav to squeal on Miss Latin, who is in the other room making a personal call to her ex.
Flav has body guard/personal assistant Curtis help him get the royal robes ready and then conducts the next “Flavor of Love” Elimination Ceremony. On his way in, he speaks to how “a dirty rat will come up and tell me stuff ‘cause they only got themselves at heart….” Well, we know what he means, sort of.
To the remaining girls, for the post-elimination celebration (where he will offer his signature pouring of the champagne for those passing babes…on the throw rug), he says, “Thanks for the good time, love, and honesty.” Hmm, how many can toast to that?
Told by Flav that Time’s Up: Applez, Dimplez, Georgia, Miss Latin, and Rain.
Georgia politely concedes that she can’t make Flav want her; and Rain says she will never speak to Flav again.
