The first promo for “Hell’s Kitchen 3” brings back Chef Spitfire Ramsey and his throwing some food he has rejected at a poor, tortured cheftestant. Who will do the fire-walk this season?

FOX Mondays are heating up, especially with “Hell’s Kitchen” on the way, on June 4th, 2007.

It was announced on May 16, but I caught the first promo last night (May 22). Ramsey, who makes the show with his

combined expertise and emotional volatility, will be teaching, training, and testing twelve hopefuls for the much deserved title of Head Chef of a Green Valley Ranch Resort, Spa and Casino Italian restaurant in Las Vegas.

As Celebrity Spider reports, “A former pro-soccer-player-turned-Michelin-starred-chef, Ramsay has conquered London’s haute cuisine scene and recently opened his first U.S. restaurant, Gordon Ramsay at the London, in New York City.” Ramsey will do his brilliant, ballsy, and bitchy thing again for the third time, setting up and overseeing cook-off challenges and dinner preparation for Hell’s Kitchen patrons—who knowingly and willingly dine on elimination challenge nights…taking their job as critics seriously enough that some even get in on the bratty

behavior for the camera. [Last season, a miffed customer approached the pass bar, complained about the dish, then dumped over the side of the bar onto Ramsey’s post.

Jen, 26, a pastry chef from Hazelton, PA
Joanna, 22, a chef’s assistant from Detroit, MI
Josh, 26, a junior sous chef from Miami Beach, FL
Julia, 28, a short-order cook from Atlanta, GA
Melissa, 29, a line cook from New York, NY
Rock, 30, an executive chef from Spotsylvania, VA
Tiffany, 27, a kitchen manager from Scottsdale, AZ
Vinnie, 29, a night club chef from Milltown, NJ

Ramsey is the best in his milieu, so he will likely continue to expect, look for, and acknowledge none but the best each week. Of course, he will also likely crank up the heat on the slackers and lackers, as well…unless he has been put on some really good meds, finally.
