The first comment one hears (or reads) is how “Make Me a Supermodel” will be little more than an “America’s Next Top Model” knockoff.

Then again, Bravo TV, with its highly reputed “Top Chef,” “Project Runway,” and “Top Design,” has little worries that “Make Me a Supermodel” will fall to ersatz infamy. And besides not using a celebrity who sounds like she is imitating Tyra Banks (see that horrid “Crowned” for such blatant rip-offs of style and whatnot), “Make Me a Supermodel” will feature males, men, boys!!!

Now that’s refreshing.
