WHAT is the Problem With Big Brother?
OK, so that’s a snotty way to start a piece – by ragging on the almighty Big Brother…
I know… But hey – it happens every time the Big Brother show winds down to the end of the season. The trouble with Big Brother is that it gets boring towards the end and I almost lose interest.
Actually it happens to almost all reality tv shows that GET RID of the ‘contestants” or in Big Brother’s case – the houseguests.
It never fails to happen in Reality TV. Survival of the fittest is not always applicable.
As the better players, and often most attractive ones, and even the more highly “spirited” ones get knocked off the shows, the drama goes with them and things get a little lame at times.
Take the current installment of Big Brother 11. While it is still a good tv show and each episode has it’s moments, it has been getting more and more weak the past few episodes.
We’re near the end and it’s down to Jordan, Natalie, Michelle and the gay guy and it’s boring!
OH yes, his name is Kevin…Sorry!
Sure, they opened Pandora’s box and Natalie was hooked up with her boyfriend who proposed to her but soooo what! And then she lied – poorly… mild drama at best.
So – what is goin on now in the BB11 house???
Well… we left them battling it out for the final HOH.
I have no favorites here. They are all weak players and not my faves. Then again – the cast this season was a bit weak from the start.
Sure, they could probably take 14 hobos and make it an interesting season – but for me – something was missing from this bacth of BB hamsters.
Quick takes on the remain Big Brother 11 house guests:
Kevin – Oh no you didn’t… I have nothing against those who like to be gay, but this guy just didn’t have a magnetic personality or anything special to give. He was flamboyant from a color combination standpoint, but he basically hid in the shadows and clung to those who had the power. Is that good game play? I don’t think so. With the weakest remaining – he does rise to the top – but geez… he doesn’t really deserve it… but who does???
Michelle – I can’t decide whether she is hot or not. She could be if she wanted to – but I think she has something holding her back. I’m not so sure she is really as smart as they occasionally try to make us believe, but compared to the others – yes – she is a rocket scientist of sorts. But she has trouble holding her won in a conversationor worse yet an argument… And she just clung to those that were there… she never took the lead on anything… Still, I think she deserves the win the most.
Natalie – Don’t get me started. This gal is a lying sack of shisnet. She is a bad lyer too. And her personality has holes in it. Sorry – but she may be on the cute side – but she is one dumb number. With Jessie gone she has been a dumb and dumber type of house guest. Sorry – she can’t win.
Jordan – oh boy – she be talkin’ funny for sure and those cone shaped objects hidden in her shirts that she is always adjusting and fidgeting with are distracting, but not in a sexy kind of way. I think her saline bags got displaced or are slipping down her armpit – why else would she play with them so much? She is a nice girl – and I do give her credit for that – but the only reason she is there is because no one in the jury except Jeff would vote for her to win the money. Not a winner. Just nice.
So… that’s the roundup. I think Michelle deserves it the most with Kevin a close second.
Natalie does not deserve winning but has a good shot (jury likes her) and Jordan is nice but not there because she played well.
We’ll just have to wait and see!

I must say that Big Brother was interesting in the beginning, but these days I cannot stay interested if I try my hardest. I have fallen asleep every time I watch now.
