Big Brother 8 is my Summer Sweetheart

Hey - it’s that time of year again! The time for conniving and back stabbing and possibly even some showmance action! 

Big Brother 8 and hot Summertime fun is here again!      Boy - it’s my favorite time of year with my favorite hot Summer reality tv show Big Brother back on CBS in full effect!

That means I/we can now dedicate 3 days or more to the adventures of the BB8 houseguests for a Big Brother Summer of fun!

I say 3 days or more because I just found myself re-watching the season premiere episode a 2nd time (it was recorded on my 2nd Tivo)! And you know what… watching Big Brother 8 a 2nd time was actually enjoyable (although I did fast forward a lot).

So - is there enough Big Brother 8 for you this Summer???

Can you live without Big Brother the other 4 nights of the week the show is NOT airing a new episode???

Strange but last night (Saturday) I found myself wishing it was on… you can nver get enough of a good thing!

We now have Big Brother 8 to keep us entertained on 3 nights each week - Thursday - Sunday (new one coming tonight) and Tuesdays….

ALSO there is Big Brother After Dark on Showtime 2.

That show drops some live Big Brother 8 footage on us for 3 hours each night. Ouch! My Tivo is already stuffed! Now I gotta keep it free and clear to keep 3 hours a night for Big Brother After Dark??? Holy Molee! Can anyone say hard drive upgrade???

I did switch on Big Brother After Dark and watched a bit… I was confused and afraid to watch as it was AHEAD in time. I switched it off real quick but am saving all the episodes to watch in the future provided my 3 Tivo’s don’t get over stuffed and run out of hard drive space!

So - did you watch the season premiere episode on Thursday July 5th???

I was out of town myself on vacation but eagerly watched Friday night when I got back home.

I must say it was a pleasurable experience and there was nothing to ruin the fun. Sometimes returning shows get changed or worse yet the old ideas stop working. So far Big Brother 8 seems fresh and fun and delivers the goods. The cast is doing the job and seems up to the task.

A few new twists and turns are fun but not too annying. For example America’s player will do what the people want him to do… hmmm… that could just be an Ace up our sleeves as it can sway the votes to potentially keep a hottie in the game when otherwise they may get voted out!

Good twist BB8 productin peeps! I like it!

The biggest disappointment in reality tv often comes when the most popular and fave contestants get voted out early. This may keep the cast in tip top form for a longer run.

I’ll be posting more this season and hope you all will spend time here commenting on the show. We really want to hear what you think. Tell us we’re wrong and straighten us out - or tell us we’re right on the money!
