Survivor: Gabon – The Good Guys Should Win In The End
The Good Guys Should Win in the End: A pushy castaway could land in hot water after using guilt to control an ally; the hidden immunity idol is put into play at the tribal council; one castaway is eliminated. Its the 13th episode of Survivor: Gabon and the chatting battle is scorching hot.
Kenny feels that he’s on the hot sit. He confronted Bob about being lied upon the immunity idol on the Tribal Council. Bob feels guilty and promises Kenny to give the idol if he wins the immunity challenge.
During the reward challenge, a trip to the Gorilla Project Zoo, a meal, bath and clothes are at stake. The winner of the challenge will get to choose two members of the tribe to share the prize and also the power to put one member in exile. In the reward challenge the castaways had to race into the swamp through a bunch of obstacles to get a ball at the end of the course. Then they had to go back to the start and toss that ball into a net. The first to get three balls in the net would win the reward. Matty has a huge time advantage against the other castaways however Bob gained upon him and it all comes down on the last shop and Bob won. He choose Crystal and Kenny to come with him on the national park and he place Susie to exile.
The winners go to their rewards by riding a helicopter. As they arrived a table of food had been waiting for them. Kenny brought up that if Matty doesn’t win immunity that it would be time to vote him off. Bob and Kenny discussed the upcoming immunity challenge. It was decided that if Bob felt Kenny was in a position where he might be the next to go, that he would hand the idol over.
After taking a bath and changing into fresh clothes Bob, Kenny and Crystal visit the gorilla sanctuary and Bob is amazed by the apes and said that it was a wonderful and life changing experience.
Being at exile, Susie is glad that she’s been away on the game for a while and totally enjoys her time on exile. She knows that Sugar has the idol so she’s not wasting her time looking for it but to enjoy the fresh fruits on the cottage.
At the camp, Matty is convincing Sugar to oust Kenny and Crystal. But sugar is not convinced saying to him that she has a strong alliance with the two. Then, Matty ask her to give him the idol because he feels that if he doesn’t win the immunity challenge they will vote for him to get ousted.
When Bob, Crystal and Kenny went back to the camp – Matty is very upset. He began fighting Crystal and Kenny because of their votes on the last Tribal Council. But the two keep on yelling on Matty saying that he should be happy he’s still on the game. Sugar was very annoyed on their actions and commented on that to Matty. She tell him that she’s starting to see the real Crystal and Kenny being bad people. Then she said that she won’t vote for Matty and she will talk to Bob and Susie to oust Crystal instead.
On the Immunity Challenge
Susie came back from exile and Jeff started to tell the task that has to be done. Each had to study an African mask and collect three bags of puzzle pieces along an obstacle course. Then they needed to take those pieces and put them together on a blank mask and match the exact one at the beginning. The downside is that they are all blindfolded. Matty decided to get all the three bags first before rearranging his masks, Crystal and Susie ended off the course for a number of times, and Bob prevailed again on this tasks..winning his fourth challenge in a row.
Crystal and Kenny are planning to blindside Bob after he give the idol to Kenny as planned. However, Sugar told Kenny about the plan and she told him to vote for Crystal at the Tribal Council.
At the tribal Council, Matty said that he’s happy Bob is the person winning the challenges instead of somebody with a little less caliber. Then Kenny brought up the fact that Bob had promised to give away his immunity necklace. But, Bob said they had re-negotiated the deal and that he wouldn’t give away the necklace unless he felt Kenny was really being threatened. Kenny kept on playing the “poor me” card acting as if he would be the one to be sent packing if Bob didn’t give his immunity away. And he decided not to give away the idol.
Then the castaways voted who’s going out of the game. Then Jeff asked that this is the last time to play the hidden immunity idol. Crystal gave away her hidden idol to Matty. The jury is happy for that. Then Jeff announced the votes and three votes has been given to Crystal who’s been voted out and become the fifth member of the jury.
