Survivor: Gabon – Who Outwitted, Outsmarted and Outlast Them All?

The season finale of Survivor: Gabon came at last. And its great. Lots of pent up emotions revealed on the final night. All I can say is that the one who won the million dollars really deserved it, that’s my own opinion.
When the five castaways came back to camp, they have been reeling when they have blindsided Crystal. Kenny’s been trying to come up with something that might save him on the next tribal council. He said that he felt betrayed because Bob did not give him the immunity idol. But Bob said to him to get his own. Sugar on the other hand have her eyes on being on the final three with Matty and Bob and she sweet talk Kenny that they are going both in the final three.
On the final five immunity challenge – they have to dressed up as warriors. Then Jeff brought them into a giant set of maze. They have to find bags of a puzzle pieces and build a miniature Japanese hut on the end of the maze. But they have to get through the maze first. Susie and Sugar had a pretty good lead at the start but the others have made it even eventually. However, when it comes to the final tasks of making the hut, Bob outwitted them all and wins his fifth immunity in a row.
Kenny’s pretty confident the he was safe tonight and Susie is a bit nervous because no one is talking to her. At the tribal council, Kenny is still making a statement to Bob that he must him what he promised, an immunity idol. Then the tribe voted and Kenny was ousted unanimously.
On Day 30 of Survivor: Gabon, the final four made their “Torch Run” where they have to honor the eliminated members of the tribe by burning the masks set on their path on their final destination. They they go off to their final immunity challenge, where one will have a chance to secure a spot in the final three.
The final tasks is to make a house of cards from 200 tiles. The first one to make a 10 feet house of cards in 30 minutes will win the challenge and if no one reach the desired height in 30 minutes, the one with the highest house of cards will win immunity. Sugar made great phase by making a fast house of cards but it fall off because it has a weak foundation. Meanwhile, Matty is making slow progressed with his firm foundation house of cards. Bob is very slow in these challenge and he did not even make a house of cards taller than 4 feet. Then Susie take the lead but lose her house and she rebuild it again. Sugar again made another tall house with a feeble foundation and it fell again. Eventually, Susie made a surprising break, she won the last immunity challenge and has secured her place in the top three.
Back at camp, Bob is really expecting that he’s going home tonight. Matty told him that he’s going to vote for him and its a given that Susie will vote for Bob because he is the biggest threat in the tribe. It all ends up with Sugar’s vote. Sugar told Bob that maybe she’ll force a tie between Bob and Matty and leave everything into fate. Bob went for a walk and came practicing in building fire, thinking that he needs it if ever a tie will be called.
At the final tribal council eviction, sugar was the one who’s vote should be watched about. She told Jeff that its really hard for her to lose Bob because he is like a father figure to her and Matty is a brother to her. When the vote was cast, I’m not really surprised when Sugar forced the tie. Its a good strategy and shows that whoever wins the tie breaker deserves to be on the top three. Bob and Matty has to made up a fire high enough to burn the rope above it. Bob was first to get fire as Matty struggled. Bob’s flame went out and poor Matty could not even get a spark to ignite the kindling. Matty knew he was cooked when Bob finally got a fire built. Matty and went down in flames as Bob picked up a game-saving win and probably just won a million dollars in the process.
At the final day, the three remaining castaways made a clean up and everybody’s been making preparations on their say to the jury on the final tribal council. Sugar’s been expecting that maybe she won’t get any vote because she had a play on the eliminations of almost all members of the jury. If it was me, I think Sugar deserved the million dollars because of her game play but it all comes down to revenge.
On the final night, the top three made their speech why they deserved to have the million dollar. and the Jury had their own piece as well.
The jury then voted who they think deserved the prize. On the live show of Survivor Gabon at Los Angeles, Jeff counted the votes. Bob wins with a very narrow space against Susie 4-3. And he really deserved it. Congrats to Bob! For more information about Survivor: Gabon check this out: Sir Links ALot Survivor: Gabon Links
