Apprentice Season 2—Where are They Now?

Apprentice Season 2—Where are They Now? by Roxanne McDonald

A happy new year might include—for us TV (and “Apprentice”) fanatics—catching up with the season 3 Apprentice contestants.

KEVIN ALLEN
According to Wikipedia, Kevin founded a software company with his brother.
As well, according to Kevin on his official website, he has gotten involved with “two projects dedicated to helping victims of Katrina—[one] a fundraiser [held] at Copeland’s in Atlanta (www.copelandsatlanta.com) called ‘Brunch for the Bayou’. The project will involve, among other things, special appearances by local Atlanta area athletes as well as a sports auction which [was also] accessible via Ebay….”

RAJ BHAKTA
The iconoclastic and unrufflable Raj is reportedly in real estate development, but is also now big in politics, spearheading the non-partisan Coalition for the Advancement of the Republic (C.A.R.), and

running— according to Wikipedia writers–for U.S. Congress in 2006 elections for Pennsylvania’s 13th Congressional District as a Republican (though he only made it as far as “winning the Republican party’s nomination in an uncontested primary,” losing to “one-term Democratic incumbent Allyson Y. Schwartz.”
BRADFORD COHEN
Brad was last reported as also into politics, running for City Commissioner in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. As well, he continues to run his own law firm, successfully taking on numerous high-profile clients at his criminal and personal injury law practice in Fort Lauderdale, Florida; sees his real estate properties renting out exponentially faster (having appeared on “The Apprentice”); and has, he tells NBC Apprentice site visitors, “developed a T-shirt line and signed an exclusive deal with Nordstrom.” Hmm. Wonder if they read, “I survived Apprentice and all I did was make these lousy tee-shirts”?

JENNIFER CRISAFULLI
As writers at Wiki and elsewhere report, in episode of season 2 when Jennifer described the project customers as “two old Jewish ladies”, she was accused of anti-Semitism on the show and back at home was fired from Prudential Douglas Elliman, making her the first to hear “you’re fired” twice in one season.
But also according to Wikipedia, NBC.com, and other reports, Jennifer landed numerous contracts within her first six weeks selling high-end residential real estate. And also an award-winning equestrian, her personal/official website reads, “While Jennifer still participates in competitive equestrian riding, she is always open and enthusiastic for all of life’s new challenges and opportunities.”

PAMELA DAY
Has founded a number of “successful companies”—the investment firm, Crimson Holdings; Blazent, an enterprise software company; and Pamela Day Enterprises, the management firm that “promotes endorsement, hosting, and speaking engagements for Pamela.” Further, Pam stays busy “writing business and investment columns for magazines, hosting business-related talk shows, paid speaking engagements, and endorsing products for working women.”

SANDY FERREIRA
Besides being owner of Distinctive Designs Bridal Salon and CEO of Sandy Ferreira Wedding & Event Planning, Sandy is a frequent lecturer across the nation about all aspects of the weddings industry, making “appearances at Filene’s Basement and Kaufman department stores as well as The Washington Bridal showcase and The Bridal Spectacular in Las Vegas,” and is a sonsistent real estate investor.

ROB FLANAGAN
Having founded Flanagan Enterprises, Inc. with his wife and having turned it into a “multi-million dollar company selling corporate-branded items and custom solution packaging products worldwide, and then having partnered with HotLink, Inc., Rob is reportedly now also enjoying the position of Vice President of Dallas Texas sales for the latter.

ELISABETH JAROSZ
A creative and business-minded person, Elisabeth, self-proclaimed “business pioneer”, president and CEO of Pulse40, Inc, has accomplished much, which she identifies as follows, for example, on her official website:

Elizabeth continues to create innovative products and services that transform industries and deliver profits time and time again…[and has] identified, created, and qualified a new business (name confidential) for Procter & Gamble that projects annual NOS of $650 million US (over $1 Billion globally)…; created new uses for dryer sheets (“Bounce Alternative Uses”) which encourages consumers to use Bounce for freshening outside the dryer…; [and] pioneered a unique process focusing on in-depth psychological interviews.

Also self-identified as a “highly sought after interviewer,” Elisabeth is in the process of patenting her new approach for strategic development.

ANDY LITINSKY
Andy made it to become another Apprentice “first”. Not the youngest, not the only, but the one who despite being “fired” in week twelve was “hired” twelve weeks later…by Donald Trump. Trump was so impressed with him that he was called back to join the real team—the one in this case which oversees, with Andy as project manager, real estate development at the offices of Trump Towers. Though, according to the official NBC.com and Apprentice website, he “spends most of his time on the Trump International Hotel and Tower in Las Vegas , a 64-story hotel and condominium under construction.”

IVANA MA
Not much is written to catch up on Ivana, save that she is evidently still doing work as a venture capitalist in her hometown, Boston, Massachusetts.

JENNIFER MASSEY
San Francisco attorney Jennifer is also apparently laying low, though word is she is still a practicing associate at the law firm, Clifford Chance.

WES MOSS
A vice president at a major investment firm and a money manager, Wes also teaches at the High Net Worth Institute of Emory University and offers speaking engagements to entrepreneurial and corporate groups across the country.

Wes is author of the book, Starting from Scratch: Secrets from 21 Ordinary People Who Made the Entreprenurial Leap—a book that has impressed the Donald, who writes that it is a “motivating and well-written book.”

STACY ROTNER
With a consistently impressive resume that includes a work history of practicing intellectual property law dealing with issues that include copyright, trademark, entertainment law and art law; public speaking; and working in the legal departments of both Sotheby’s auction house and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, Stacy apparently continues to practice corporate law at a “top law firm” in New York.

CHRIS RUSSO
Wealth manager with Worldwide Wealth Management, creating customized portfolios for his clients, according to Wikipedia writers, Russo opened his own firm after being a stockbroker for seven years…and ranking “13th out of over 1,000 brokers after only five months.”

MARIA BOREN
Maria’s current work and business status and dealings are more implicit, but also apparently, she has met with such opportunities as “a possible TV show, book, job offers, public speaking appearances, modeling opportunities, etc.,” and is said to currently facilitate and conduct Making Change seminars across the country.

STACIE JONES UPCHURCH
Stacie J. is franchise owner of what she calls an “exclusive” Subway Sandwich Shop, which she also points out is located “in the heart of Harlem’s main business corridor and across the street from Pres. Bill Clinton’s office.”

JOHN WILLENBORG
According to Wikipedia, Since his “firing,” Willenborg was “hired by Fox Cable Group’s SPEED Channel to become a reporter for their new series, NASCAR Nation…which Wiki writers note is ironic, as while in college, Willenborg had done an internship at Speed.

Ironies and idiosyncrasies abounded in season 2—so we can only hope that season 6 will offer up something as interesting.
