CBS Big Brother is Great This Season!

Wow, I must say I am really impressed this season with how good Big Brother 10 is.

The whole CBS Big Brother experience seems much better than last fall which seemed to be thrown together haphazardly and not really embraced by the producers (or the CBS Early Show).

Everything seems just right - everything from the casting, to the new live audience format for the eviction ceremonies (on Thrsday nights) to the extras we’re getting such as REGULAR appearances by Julie and the houseguests on the CBS Late Late Show with Craig Fergusan are welcome additions this season.

Craig has a blast with the houseguests! What a great idea! I’m a big fan of his and he is perfect for this!

Also back are the morning segments on the CBS Early Show each Friday with Julie Chen featuring more from the most recent evicted houseguest.

While I would prefer that the Early Show segments were LIVE the morning after, instead of recorded the night before - I guess it’s ok that they tape them the same night as they were evicted.

I must say I do prefer the old format where the evicted houseguests have had a good nights sleep (or not) to think about things instead of a continued interview minutes after getting shafted. Reflection the day after is much different than the way they must feel just minutes after getting booted form the Big Brother House!

Regardless of that small niggle, the show is killer this time out and CBS is supporting it in a bigger way than last season which is good. But how about Regis and Kelley interviewing the guests like they used to do in previous seasons??? Or maybe one of the Los Angeles talk shows - let them get at the evicted houseguests too… more media coverage is better for the show!

If you watched last night it was a very entertaining episode. While I am thrilled that Jessie the muscle man got booted last week, it is fun to see his gal pal Michelle as Head of Household.

I am not a big fan of Michelle but she is fun to watch. She has a big mouth. She’s got revenge on her mind in a grindhouse kind of way and that’s fun! She is riding high on the thrill of her HOH victory and she is seeking revenge for Jessie!

Libra and Keesha are now on the block and everyone else is kissing Michelle’s butt. I was thinking to myself earlier about how the contestants have got it all wrong this season… at least they did until last eviction ceremony, because the way they had been playing this season is to kiss the head of household’s butt and do exactly as they are instructed… it should instead be about the POWER the VOTERS have - not the HOH - they have no vote! They only have INFLUENCE or NOT as in the case of the houseguests going against the grain and voting out Jessie instead of Memphis whom April (last HOH) had it out for.

April was so shocked that Memphis did not get evicted as she wanted. JErry too was so angry. He was a mean old man pouting and such.

Odd thing is - Michelle does not seem to see through April and her gangs past intentions of ripping apart Jessie, Michelle and Memphis. One moment April was out for those 3 and now she is kissing booty like she was always faithful???

It’s one of those moments you’d like to scream in the tv and tell them to wake up and smell the coffee!

But that’s what makes big Brother so fun I guess. We watch them do things we can’t understand! It’s frustrating and fun at the same time!

Now we still have to see what happens with the 2 gals Keesha and Libra on the block. I never did like Libra and I sense she is the one who will go unless she wins POV. Keesha may get backdoored and if so she deserves it for not being friendlier to the enemies, but in all lielyhood they’ll go after Libra who is playing a strange and emotional game.

Oh and did you get a load of Jerry and his anger towards America’s player Dan??? Jerry went off like a madman and continues to harbor hateful feelings.

Boy, I wouldn’t want Jerry to see my dog peeing on his grass… I bet he’d explode! 

Funny how some people can’t get that Big Brother is a game. People get played in games. That’s what happens - it’s not evil doing by evil people.

I was happy to see Dan get a pass and not get put up for eviction. I must say he has turned around and is playing the best game in the house right now. I was down on him initially but he has gotten my respect.

We’ll see where it goes. More action on Tuesday as they do the POV thang.
