Big Brother 7 All-Stars puts BB devotees through the gamut of emotions—or emotional responses. |
First, we are getting fed up with the Janelle thing, especially once she “scumbagged” (as Marcellas would say) her supposed “friend”.
Yep, she put Marcellas up for eviction, pretentiously confiding in him that she had to do it but that she would ensure he was only a pawn and going nowhere. As Marcellas rightfully exclaims in the Diary Room, every so-called pawn in the history of Big Brother has not made it out of that position (as decoy/pawn) alive.
I don’t give a rat’s ass about Janelle’s beauty. This aint about some resentment because she is blonde and has boobs. In fact, she is on the lower end of the scale of TV beauties, really, and I don’t see her replacing Farrah Fawcett or Heidi Klum any time soon, and neither will she make it as an Apprentice or a Jeopardy finalist. She is just a token easy-to-look-at and therefore “entertaining” house guest who thinks she is being so tricky when in fact she is being tricked and she is just acting out malicious and regrettable deeds as dictated by the boys of Chill Town.
This brings us to the next chapter in the annals of evil incarnate: Will really is brilliant. I’ve said it before. One testament to a smart person is in his communication by way of metaphors. Will’s latest? “Chilltown is the Wheels of this show. I’m Paul McCartney; [Boogie’s] John Lennon…and Erika’s still the Yoko Ono….” And, he suggests, she has got to go.
But the Yoko Ono has not been removed. A lot of talk about it and suddenly Marcellas is the projected-upon, the pariah of the moment, the biggest threat? (Really, he is all you had left, Janelle, so why not admit that fact if not to him at least to the DR cams, and if not to DR cams at least to your deluded self!? Nothing has happened in the way of making progress, save for Chilltown’s benefit (of course): oh, yeah, Mike Boogie has earned/won the coup d’etat, a power no one knows he has and won’t know until he uses it. I wonder if he is truly out for himself and whether he will even deceive Will…..
Deception goes deeper—and back to the situation with Marcellas. As Marcellas goes around the house soliciting votes (or anti-votes…to keep him in the game), he approaches George. Now, remember, George had forfeited his right to normal food and was eternally on slop. Out of generosity, Marcellas gave George a pass to exempt him from having to eat slop and to enable him to join in the party of the day (which at that time was a pizza and Margarita party, I believe). Marcellas could have saved that pass for himself. And should have. When he asks George for a vote in his favor, George hedges and announces he has made no “commitments” to anyone. Maybe THAT’s where he gets the nickname Chicken George?
Then again, he is now HoH, having won the latest BB Yearbook superlatives HoH competition, and is set to immediately nominate two for eviction (it being a double eviction week and all). What will the birdbrain do? There are season sixers, Chill, and Danielle and Erika left. Will he, as I never first suspected but now see him caving to, nominate Erika and Danielle? Of course he will.
